About Low Mood

All of us have "off" or "bad" days from time to time, but for some people this state of low mood can go on for weeks.

All of us have “off” or “bad” days from time to time such as when the car breaks down on the way to work, but for some people this state of low mood can go on for weeks, if not months. Low mood, however, should not be confused with clinical depression which is diagnosed by a GP or psychiatrist and patients are generally put on a course of antidepressants.

Lots of things can trigger a low mood

There are many different factors that can trigger low mood. For some people, upsetting or stressful life events such as bereavement, divorce, illness, redundancy and job or money worries can be the cause.

People often talk about a ‘downward spiral’ of events that lead to a prolonged state of low mood. For example, if a relationship with a partner breaks down, they are likely to feel low, they may stop seeing friends and family, and start drinking more – all of which can make them feel even worse.

Natural relief for low mood

KarmaMood is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the relief of slightly low mood and mild anxiety, exclusively based on long standing use as a traditional remedy. Taking one tablet per day may help to improve mood. If no improvement is seen in mood after six weeks, a doctor should be consulted. Always read the label.
